Celebrate Earth Day by Planting in Recycled Pots #StonyfieldBlogger

This year for Earth Day, M and I celebrated in a way that I’d been wanting to do for awhile. We planted some of our own veggies! I was pretty excited to get some High Mowing Organic Seeds to plant this year. I don’t exactly have the greenest thumb on the planet, but it’s not completely black either and planting a small garden has been on my to-do list for awhile now.

Blogging/Business New Year’s Resolutions

Blogging-Business New Year's Resolutions

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost 2015, which means making my Blogging/Business New Year’s Resolutions. This has certainly been one roller coaster of a year and I have mixed feelings about saying goodbye to 2014. This year certainly started off rough while healing from 2 miscarriages. I had hoped that I’d have, in my arms, my rainbow baby by the end of 2014. Alas, that has not happened, but I am carrying my rainbow baby, so I’ll take it! We’ll end the year on a good note!

2014 Holiday Wish List – Toddler Edition

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

It’s truly hard to believe that the *gulp* holiday season is already here! Believe it or not, I’ve already gotten started on our Christmas shopping, thanks to our Citrus Lane (ref link) subscription anyway! I started setting items from his Citrus Lane boxes aside back in June. Not everything, but usually one toy/book item from the box was stashed away for later. Since his birthday is only 2 weeks after Christmas, I do need to get an early start and try to save money where possible. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up in 2 short weeks, so it’s really starting to be crunch time to get everything done!

Easter 2014 Basket Gift Guide

Disclosure: Affiliate links are included throughout this post. Regardless, all opinions are my own. I share with you what I love!

With Easter right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking of what to put in M’s Easter basket of goodies! Last year, we went pretty basic, not even any candy! He was just over a year, no need for candy. This year though, I’ll indulge him with some treats, but it will still contain mostly fun items such as books and toys.

Here are some ideas for your own Easter basket for you little one! Pretty much everything is gender neutral and I included both a girl outfit and boy outfit – both of which are absolutely adorable!!

  1. Nautica Baby-Boys Infant Seersucker Vest Set – $34.99 – Adorable boy’s outfit!
  2. Rare Editions Girls Floral Woven Dress with Shrug – $38.98 – I wish I had a girl! Love this outfit!
  3. Eco Kids Natural Plant Dye Modeling Dough – $18.29 – Perfect for an Easter basket and is completely safe and natural.
  4. Melissa & Doug Princess Plush Burrow Bunny – $14.99 – Every kid needs a bunny on Easter, right?
  5. Gazillion Bubbles – $9.99 – Bubbles are so fun and a great addition to any Easter basket.
  6. Annie’s Homegrown Organic Fruit Snacks – $4.69 – Perfect for the sweet tooth, without all the additives from other treats.
  7. Hershey Chocolate Bunny – $3.30 – Cuz, what’s an Easter basket without a chocolate bunny?
  8. Annie’s Homegrown Bunny Grahams – $8.26 – For those that want chocolate bunnies, but prefer to steer clear of candy.
  9. EcoKids Easter Egg Decorating Kit – $14.99 – Perfect for going natural and safe with egg dying this Easter.
  10. Home for a Bunny (Little Golden Book) – $3.12 – We love Little Golden Books so this is a must have!

What are your Easter plans this year?
